KIDZ PRAIZE
Kidz Choir provides
musical and spiritual learning experiences, group
interaction toward common goals, and an appreciation
for congregational singing and worship. Events
include class activities and games, singing in
services, and seasonal musicals. Musicals provide
opportunities for participation in choral singing,
solos, ensembles, drama, sign language and
choreography. Many of our leaders are trained
musicians, but there are a variety of other
responsibilities that are also critical to this
ministry: record-keeping, creating props and
backdrops, assisting in social and recreational
activities, Bible teaching, phone calls, hugs, being
a friend, and especially showing the love of Christ
to a child! For more information about becoming a
part of this leadership team or enrolling your child
in Kidz Praize, call the music office. (Choirs are
offered from
3-year-olds — 5th Grade.)
CELEBRATION
CHOIR
The Celebration Choir is
open to all adults & teenagers (high school juniors
and up). This group sings for all of our Sunday
morning and Sunday evening Worship Services. You can
sing with us one, two, or even three times a week.
In addition, the choir sings for seasonal
presentations. No experience is necessary to be a
part … just be willing to sing the song in your
heart and be faithful.
PRAISE
TEAMS/ENSEMBLES
These groups are made up
of active Choir and Orchestra participants. Praise
Teams and Ensembles frequently sing with the
Celebration Choir and sing backup solos in groups.
Solo players or small instrumental groups are also
used to add variety and color to worship experiences
at Marcus Pointe. For more information, please call

CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC

In response to
God's command, the music ministry of Marcus
Pointe Baptist Church has established the
Marcus Pointe Conservatory of Music.
“Our purpose is to train musicians to use
their talents to glorify the Lord at school,
at home, at church-wherever God chooses them
to serve”. |

Lessons
Individual lessons are scheduled at the
convenience of the teacher and student. No
lessons will take place on Sundays or any
time that would conflict with any regular
church activities. All lessons will be held
at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church .
Recitals
A formal recital will be held each year.
Recitals afford each student the necessary
opportunity to perform in a public setting
and allow family and friends to see how each
student is progressing. (The recital fee is
$20 per student.)
Schedule
The Conservatory operates during the
standard school year. The first semester
will begin in August and will end in
December. The Spring semester also follows
the normal school schedule.

There is a $25.00 non-refundable
Administration Fee due at the time of
registration for student per year.
Tuition
The cost is $17 per lesson. Tuition can be
paid all at once or in monthly installments.
All monthly tuition payments are due on the
first day of each month.
Private and
group lessons available.
We accept both adults and children at all
levels, beginning as well as advanced.
