Scott Blanchard serves a dual role at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church as the Singles and Discipleship Pastor. Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, Scott felt the call to ministry in July of 1987. After graduating in 1997 from Bible college, Scott joined the pastoral staff of MPBC in January 1999. His duties include overseeing all singles ministries, including all the singles’ Connection Pointe Bible Study Groups (Sunday School), Life Line small groups, and the Tuesday mid-week service, 7:22. Scott and his wife, Karen, have been married since December 2001 and are expecting their first child in March 2007.
